“March for Future Generations: Break Free from Fossil Fuels”

2 Apr

EYC will have weekly meetings every Tuesday 6:30 pm at Cafe 11 to plan and organize for our upcoming Break Free Action in collaboration with 350.org. Join us starting this Tuesday, April 5th.

*note-meeting times changed to every Wednesday 6:00 pm at Cafe 11*

Environmental Youth Council invites you to “March for Future Generation-Break Free from Fossil Fuels.”  The Center for Biological Diversity, The Matanzas River Keeper, The Unitarian Universalist Community of St. Augustine will join in urging President Obama and world leaders to leave fossil fuels in the ground and embrace a sustainable clean energy future.  Your support was instrumental in defeating the Keystone Pipeline and the proposed Atlantic off-shore drilling.  Now is the time to move the world away from carbon energy once and for all.  Show up and show support for the next generation.  We will gather at 1:30 PM and March at 2:30 PM across the Bridge of Lions, Through the Plaza, and rally at the City Building at 75 King Street.
